Week Ending 24 May 2019

During May we are focusing on the core value of Understanding

Jason Hector
Many of you may have heard the terribly sad news of the sudden death of Jason Hector last week.  Jason was a fantastic person who cared passionately about the school and was a dedicated Chair of Governors for many years.

Our hearts go out to the Hector family, and in particular to Charlotte, Sophie and Isabel, all of whom have made significant and long-standing contributions to the school over recent years.

Our thoughts are with them all.

Meerkat Champion of the Week

PTA News
Thank you to everyone who came to the Bingo evening last Friday.  It was lovely to see a great mix of people there, including current, past and future pupils with their families and friends.  We raised over £300 which is a fantastic amount.  Thank you to Alan Manzie for looking after the bar and to Guy Holmes for doing a great job, as ever, as our bingo caller.

Our next PTA committee meeting will be on Wednesday 19th June at 8pm at The Crown. All welcome.

Cake Club
Well done Jake for winning last week’s cakes, kindly provided by Louise.  We are looking forward to this week’s cake being provided by Rosie.
