World Book Day
Each child received a £1 book token this week in celebration of World Book Day. A huge thank you to all the wonderful character costumes for this event. Characters included Mr Sneeze, Cinderella, Mr Wolf (without his three little pigs!), Wally from Where’s Wally, Dinah from The Dinosaurs Packed Lunch, Geronimo Stilton, James Bond, Just William and Obelix to name just a few. Favourite stories were read in class and a selection read in assembly. Children were fascinated to hear about the character choices of other pupils and were also delighted to see each member of staff also dressed as a character.
