Chair of Governors
We are delighted to announce that at the last meeting of the full Governing Body, Craig Tombling was voted in as Chair of Governors, following the resignation of Carl Mannering, with immediate effect.

Work Viewing Evening, Monday 15th March
Thank you to everyone who attended the Work Viewing Evening and to those parents who provided feedback to the Governing Body via the questionnaire. If anyone did not complete the questionnaire and would still like to do so, forms are available on a table in the hall and the suggestion box will remain in place for the next week or so.


Message from PTA
Easter Chocolate Raffle – 1 April. Tickets have gone out to parents for the raffle. We have only given out £4 worth of tickets in the hope that all parents buy the tickets, thereby enabling all children to have a chance at winning. Please send in your tickets stubs and money to Mrs Hopkins by Wednesday 31st March.

Chocolate Donations – all chocolate or Easter related donations gratefully received. Bring into school by Wednesday 31st March please.Clothes

Recycling 30th April - For those parents who have never done this before the general idea is to rummage round your house, find unwanted good condition clothes, bedding, shoes, handbags, towels, pop them in a sack which can be obtained from school or Sarah Madry, and deliver them to school on 30th April by 09.30am.

Little Bears News
We are having an exciting week exploring and investigating. The Little Bears are taking part in science experiments, growing cress and exploring porridge oats in the water tray. We would like to thank Mr & Mrs Birtles who very kindly donated daffodils on Friday. The children who attended Little Bears on Friday all took home a bunch of daffodils for their Mum for Mothering Sunday.

DIARY DATES:
Tuesday 30th March
Classes 2 & 3 visit the North Wall Theatre. Letters sent home on 17th March.
Thursday 1st April
9.00am End of Term Assembly with Little Bears. Parents/carers welcome. Chocolate Raffle draw.
School finishes at 1.30pm for the April Holiday. No after –school football club.
Monday 19th April
Start of Term 5
Swimming begins for Class 2 pupils – they will have 5 sessions.
